Sound

Flat Chinese cymbals produce an "Asian" sound, deep, dark and tam-tam like. Other then domed Chinese cymbals they offer a larger dynamic sonority with a very long and harmonic decay, and they are extremely well suited for effective and assertive crescendo rolls. Flat Chinese cymbals sound deeper than Turkish cymbals at the same size. They produce an interesting sound and offer an attractively priced alternative to the Turkish cymbals of established brands.
