The conductor's chair "Comfort" with casters is identical in function and quality to the conductor's chair "Comfort" (3110D). The only difference is the slightly lower height and the mounted swivel full-brake casters which offer the conductor maximum flexibility. We also recommend this model for stage directing.

The casters are fully lockable i.e. the wheel and its joint can be completely and totally blocked. This ensures an extremely firm standing position.

Seat design

Sitting and conducting in this ergonomic chair is comfortable even for hours on end; the seat cushion is mounted on elastic rubber rocking elements, which gives the chair a pleasant flexibility.

The 5-legged base offers maximum stability, the triangular footrest can optionally be turned away and the chair can thus be used as a standing support. Also works well for use as a stage director with maximum flexibility.

Material & construction: The seat shell is made of sturdy, multiple-adhesive beech plywood and padded with high-quality, air permeable furniture foam. This is also provided with ventilation holes. Custom upholstery is available on request.

Long term health efficiency - the rounded front edge counteracts leg fatigue and circulatory disorders. The light spinal support generates a natural straightening of the spine and thus prevents postural damage.

Seat adjustment

The conductor's chair "Comfort" is equipped with a pneumatic height adjustment. Adjusting the height of the seat is effortless and noiseless simply by employing a release lever which is equipped with a pneumatic safety spring.

The seat inclination of the conductor's chair can also be finely adjusted by up to 20° using a user-friendly quick-release handle.

Backrest

The ergonomic backrest is ideally tailored to the needs of conductors and offers maximum freedom of movement for the upper body, arms and shoulders. It also provides a firm support for the back and promotes a healthy posture.

Material & construction: The shell of the backrest which is made of multi-ply beechwood is also fully adjustable on the connecting rod and adapts perfectly to any body position. High-end, breathable furniture foam ensures optimal comfort.

Backrest adjustment

For maximum flexibility, even the angle of the backrest can be adjusted using a convenient release lever, which is equipped with a safety pneumatic spring. The enormous advantage here is that the backrest cannot snap forward; the body weight moves it gently into the desired position.

This means that your back can be in contact with the backrest even in the foremost sitting position on the edge of the chair. The backrest is freely adjustable in height using a detachable handle.

Fabric cover

The chair has a high-quality, flame-retardant upholstery fabric made of Trevira® CS fibers (meets fire protection form B1) with a rub resistance of 100,000 Martindale (maximum durability). The standard colour is noble anthracite.
