The conductor's chair "Standard" is the inexpensive alternative for ensembles, music schools and brass bands, but also for orchestras on a budget. The most important advantages here are its simplicity. The sturdy and durable steel construction combines the superior comfortable seating of the "Comfort" chairs with the reputable Kolberg material and processing quality. However it does not facilitate adjustment of height, seat or backrest. The cross brace offers the conductor a practical footrest and still counteracts leg fatigue.

Should a spare part be needed, it will be easily available many years after purchase. The wood used in manufacturing comes exclusively from certified sustainable forest cultivation.

Chair frame and seat height

The extremely sturdy chair frame is made of Ø 20 mm steel tubing with a material thickness of 2 mm. The surface is black powder-coated (other colours on request). Of course, this model is equipped with stacking bars and non-slip plastic foot glides.

Seat design

Sitting and conducting in this ergonomic chair is comfortable even for hours on end; the seat cushion is mounted on elastic rubber rocking elements, which gives the chair a pleasant flexibility.

The seat shell is made of sturdy, multiple-adhesive beech plywood and padded with high-quality, air permeable furniture foam (4 cm). This is also provided with ventilation holes. Custom upholstery is available on request.

Long term health efficiency - the rounded front edge counteracts leg fatigue and circulatory disorders. The light spinal support generates a natural straightening of the spine and thus prevents postural damage.

Seating surface: width x depth = 44 x 42 cm.

Backrest

The ergonomic backrest is ideally tailored to the needs of conductors and offers maximum freedom of movement for the upper body, arms and shoulders. It also provides a firm support for the back and promotes a healthy posture.

Material & construction: The shell of the backrest which is made of multi-ply beechwood is also fully adjustable on the connecting rod and adapts perfectly to any body position. High-end, breathable furniture foam ensures optimal comfort.

Fabric cover

The chair has a high-quality, flame-retardant upholstery fabric made of Trevira® CS fibers (meets fire protection form B1) with a rub resistance of 100,000 Martindale (maximum durability). The standard colour is noble anthracite.
