Apart from the adjustable elastic straps and the padding in the back the transport case is provided with a stable foam material guiding profile on the bottom and on the top for a soft and safe storing of the instrument. We made the most of the storage space so that the double-bass player remains independent of the general wardrobe cases: There is a tail-coat hanger on the top left side, shoes and other personal objects can be stowed away in the partitions on the left and on the right side of the bottom, the built-in briefcase can be used for sheets of music, documents, and writing material. The pockets in the door hold two bows with or without case. To keep the case manoeuvrable a special casing for the spike is lowered into the otherwise unused room between the casters. The overall height is thus kept as low as possible. Additional handles and casters are mounted at some edges to allow transport in several positions. Despite its bulk the flight case can be moved with ease even through narrow halls and stair cases.

All flight cases are made in single-piece work in solid craftsmanship.
