Bars

All Kolberg glockenspiel bars are made of high-quality steel with a cross section of 30 x 10 mm. The silver matt chrome-plated surface guarantees play without annoying light reflections with all kinds of lighting. The fixing pins of the bars are rubber coated and mounted below the beating surface, eliminating the possibility of hitting the pins.

Tension Cords

High-quality special braided nylon cords do not cause any annoying vibration side noise and are very hard wearing.

Resonantors

Aluminium tube resonators amplify the sound optimally.

Damper

The pedal-operated damper is efficient and silent and can be quickly adjusted to any playing height. The pedal covers the whole width of the instrument.

Frame and Bridges

Frame and bridges are made of solid common beech. Colour: common beech natural or black matt finish
An all-around guard rail protects stand and bars reliably from lateral impact.

Stand with central height adjustment

The mobile glockenspiel stand is height-adjustable by means of a crank within a range of 75 to 100 cm. Colour: black powder-coated
