With this soft glove the player enlarges the muffling area and the sudden deadening of the sound without any side noises is made possible. If the player applies the glove with different degrees of pressure for reiterated notes the irritating vibrations are avoided that are created by the standard method of muffling by hand. A suspension eyelet has been integrated that enables one to suspend the muffling glove on one of the bass drum's wing bolts. In this way it becomes a permanent muffler.
