Sound

Mallets with elastic rattan shafts provide a very good touch and fine articulation and they develop an optimal sound culture, nearly without disturbing impact noises.

Quality characteristics

We only chose the best raw material very carefully and produce our mallet shafts in multistage operations, so that we can put a mallet of best sound and workmanship quality into the musician's hands. Rattan shafts of the RT series with their special form are hand-sanded and are unique in the marked with regard to production as well as sound characteristics. All shafts are matched in weight, diameter and colour. For the cork grip we use natural cork, that is very pleasant to the touch, other than artificial substitutes.

Two head mallets

We also manufacture two-head mallets with heads from the Kolberg range, optionally on long cylindrical wooden shafts (Ø 9 mm, 380 mm long), cylindrical wooden timpani-mallet shafts (Ø 11 mm, 380 mm long) or on a drumstick. You will find fixed combinations under the heading "two-head mallets".
