The Kolberg ocean drum is filled with glass beads.
The lacquered wooden shell is equipped with natural heads on both sides. Thanks to these heads you can imitate the noise of a very strong surf. The glass beads can be removed or refilled through an opening with screw cap.
Additional effect of pattering rain, due to glass beads falling onto the lower natural head.
