PLAYING ORDER/CONCEPTION - "Stuttgart" / "Copenhagen"

In cooperation with Prof. Marta Klimasara (Musikhochschule Stuttgart) and Prof. Gert Mortensen (Royal Academy of Music Copenhagen), "Thirteen Drums" was developed in consideration of the playing order preferred by the universities. (Further combinations on request)

STRUCTURE

The tom-toms are built in 3 rows on 2 axes. The inclination of the rear axis (row 1 + 2) can be infinitely adjusted. Individual holders allow each drum to be swivelled horizontally and moved sideways. The playing height of the tom-toms is uniform in one level. The instruments are delivered in a ready-to-play condition and are matched in sound.

TOM-TOMS

• 6 layered cross laminated common beech shell, scratchproof décor black (ash texture)
• Stable counterhoop, high-gloss chrome-plated
• Tensioning lugs made of solid high-quality die-cast zinc, high-gloss chrome-plated, with spring-mounted lug nuts
• Plastic head REMO Fiberskyn® 3
• Special clamping rosettes for extremely narrow structures, high-gloss chrome-plated

BASS DRUM

• Thin common beech wood shell with reinforcement ring, scratchproof decor black (ash texture)
• Tensioning lugs made of solid high-quality die-cast zinc, high-gloss chrome-plated, with spring-mounted lug nuts
• Plastic heads REMO Powerstroke® 3 / REMO Ambassador® Coated
• High-quality bass drum pedal with flexible Bowden cable and rack holder

RACK

• 1 mobile combination stand with 4 fully locking swivel casters Ø 75 mm
• External dimensions (length x width): approx. 130 x 70 cm
• Playing height infinitely adjustable approx. 70 - 100 cm
• Very compact, space-saving design of all components
• Completely dismountable
• Compatible with the complete Kolberg combination stand system

All rack parts are made of high-quality steel and high-gloss chrome-plated resp. black-silver powder-coated.
