Snare option

Finely adjustable release mechanism with tensionable snare unit of 6 wound snares (nickel silver) and 5 snares

Similar to standard production of spiral snares, our innovative production method bundles the single strands to form a unit of parallel-tensioned wires with a metal brace at each end. This snare unit is equipped with an extra tension spindle. Thus, all wires are perfectly and equally tensioned at production. Using the Allen key, you can tighten or slacken the overall tension which is regulated by the spindle. This way you can regulate the sound to meet the demands of the composition or of the acoustic situation.
