Hand hammered cymbals from Wuhan, Turkish style with brilliant surface. These thin cymbals are made traditionally of bronze alloy and are tested and chosen on site by Kolberg staff according to highest quality standards.

Sound

Due to the thin material used these cymbals respond quickly and easily in all sizes. They are extremely well suited for crisp splash and crash effects with a slightly "Asian" basic character, and for use as symphonic roll cymbals. The tone colour is slightly dark. In addition to the sparkling tam-tam like attack they feature a warm sustain, rich in frequencies. At the same size the light Wuhan cymbals sound deeper than the Wuhan series or medium heavy cymbals (BWES). They produce an interesting sound and offer an attractively priced alternative to the Turkish cymbals of established brands. They are suitable as suspended cymbal for use in the orchestra and can also be used as Crash and Ride cymbals at the drum set.
