Bars
Kolberg xylophone bars are made of first-class Honduras Rosewood. All bars are 40 mm wide. The fixing pins are rubber coated and placed below the beating surface, so that you can't hit them by accident.
Tension Cords
High-quality special braided nylon cords do not cause any annoying vibration side noise and are very hard wearing.
Resonance
The bottom board creates the resonant body
Frame and Bridges
Frame and bridges are made of solid common beech, bottom board made of multiply glued laminated beech. The enlarged frame serves as slide protection for the bars in case of lateral impact.
