Boobams are available separately or in octave ranges. Other octaves and sets can be put together on request. Extension of the range to the octave below the bass clef (contra octave) 1C - 1H/C1-B1 upon request.

Resonant tube

Robust resonant tubes made of impact resistant black synthetic material are used today instead of the originally used bamboo.

Steel counterhoop

Very sturdy counterhoop for a precise tension distribution, black powder-coated.

Tensioning screws

The 4 special tensioning screws are located below the beating surface, so that the boobams can also be comfortably played by hand.

Holder

Each boobam is provided with 2 non-removable holders fitting the Kolberg combination stand system, e.g. for sliding holders 260 - 263.

Batter head

The high-quality extra thick Kolberg plastic heads provide a rich, voluminous sound. Tuning wrench included.

Mallets

Numerous models can be used for the boobams.

We recommend for ex.:

• hard felt mallets
• timpani mallets (hard felt, wool felt,...)
• for the bass clef: Bass drum roll mallets 948, 877

Stands

Multi-functional stand system, mobile and secured by means of sturdy fully locking swivel casters, can be completely disassembled and adjusted for height.
