Sound
Mallets with elastic rattan shafts provide a very good touch and fine articulation and they develop an optimal sound culture, nearly without disturbing impact noises. A mallet with rattan shaft sounds softer compared to one with a wooden shaft.
Two head mallets
We also manufacture two-head mallets with heads from the Kolberg range, optionally on long cylindrical wooden shafts (Ø 9 mm, 380 mm long), cylindrical wooden timpani-mallet shafts (Ø 11 mm, 380 mm long) or on a drumstick.
